걸그룹 앳하트(ATHEART)의 첫 번째 EP 『PLOT TWIST』를 위한 아이덴티티 시스템과 피지컬 앨범 디자인을 진행했다. ‘반전’이라는 앨범의 핵심 콘셉트를 타이포그래피의 중심 구조로 설정하고, 방향이 뒤집히는 스크립트 서체를 통해 하트의 형상이 드러나도록 조형적인 장치를 설계했다. 또한 수록곡 전반에 걸쳐 나타나는 사운드 이펙트의 특징을 시각적으로 번역해, 이모티콘을 연상시키는 그래픽 요소를 개발함으로써 앨범 전반에 통일된 분위기와 생동감을 부여했다.
We worked on the identity system and physical album design for PLOT TWIST, the first EP by the girl group ATHEART. Centering the concept of “plot twist” — the key theme of the album — within the typographic structure, we designed a compositional device that reveals the shape of a heart through the use of script typefaces that reverse their direction. Additionally, by visually translating the distinctive sound effects woven throughout the tracks, we developed graphic elements reminiscent of emoticons, bringing a cohesive sense of playfulness and vibrancy to the overall album.
